I think if you research and go around asking auto shops, engineering shops (basically anywhere they do welding) about the different types of metal should help find what you want.

my bars are stronger than seasoned and they are mild steel and seasoned are chromoly it all depends on how thick you make them seasoned are paper thin thats why they are so light my cross bar is like 3mm wall and same with my steertube so they shouldnt bend unless they are thrown or ridden like bigger than 20" wide

i have mild steel bars and they are way heavy but also super thick. I think its going to last awhile till i can learn some big tricks haha

because its possible to have a strong scooter that is lightweight.

you can have more control over your tricks and riding.

its just added weight you dont need when you can use good lightweight parts.

i weighed my SZ one pieces they are 18x16 they were 2.6 pounds which probably isn't really that accurate i believe they are about .3 or .4 pounds lighter than that but honestly ..

and yes they are 4130 its the shit incase you havent heard

who cares if your whole scooter weighs 3 pounds if you have to ride with horrible fact that it might break any where at any given moment?

i like peace of mind that when i launch myself to bigger and better ,gaps, tricks, stairs, ledges ect.
that i may indeed break myself...
.. not my scooter
