in my oppinion i would perfer that marijuana should be illegal. i, myself, smoke weed often and love to, i just feel that america will alter marijuana with chemicals, nicotine, etc..

First of all, they would try and make it cost LESS than the stuff on the street. A big reason to legalize it would be to undercut drug dealers, removing them from the streets and taking away all the violence that goes along with drug deals. Also, it would be just as, if not stronger than the stuff you can buy now. Ever heard of medical marijuana? When you have more money to back your project and a legal facility to do it in, it'll be REALLY potent shit.
Decriminalization is a step, but you still get arrested. It's decriminalized here in Massachusetts, and it's still a really shitty situation if you get caught. Sure, nothing goes on your criminal record if you're possessing less than an ounce, but trust me, you'd rather it be legal if you're caught.
Im pretty sure drug dealers sell more than just weed. weed is the pussy shit son. a line of coke is like 15 bucks. Thats 3 joints in my book.

if they legalize it, dealers will just move on to selling dangerous drugs. i don't smoke, but i think it should stay illegal. like people said, mass production and taxation would suck dick for the people who smoke and then there'd probably be big weed companies and they prob use chemicals and nicotine in it.

Why the fuck do people think tobacco companies put nicotine into cigarettes? NICOTINE IS NATURALLY IN TOBACCO, they don't put it in artificially. Trust me, if industries starting making them, it would be a LOT cleaner/regulated then what we have today. They would also be used for medicinal purposes, only justifying how virtually "perfect" they would have to be.
