i don't know why there isnt a thread on them yet. definitely one of the greatest bands of our generation, if you don't listen to them yet you probably should.

i like ALOT of there stuff, but then again, almost half of there shit is just terrible, but the other half completely makes up for it because its so good.

They are the sex..The newest cd is great, but so are all of their cds. some of my favorite songs are: paper thin walls, shit luck, talking shit about a pretty sunset, fire it up, teeth like gods shoeshine

but yea... huge fan.

Im not going to lie, i think thier new album is def. thier best. its a whole new style for them (no slowww songs or wierd songs, basically the whole cd has a fairly fast paced tempo), but it grew on me overtime. The good news album is a classic, float on of course, good times are killing me, ocean breathes salty, the view, etc. The Moon and Antartica is also a GREAT album. very consistent with good songs. Than from there on its like a half and half deal.

But yea...id give my left tit to see them live.

We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank is such an amazing album. as is Good News For People Who Love Bad News.

modest mouse is one of my favorite bands at the moment.

eh. its all a matter of opinion. in my opinion, hearing "furr it up, furr it up!" gets annoying. haha, of course in GENERAL its a good song, but if i were to write a MM cd, i wouldnt put that in.

anyone love little motel/spitting venom/education? those 3 have got to be my favorite off the album.

modest mouse is the best band ever ive seen them like 4 times i love dramamine, karmas payment, alot of their older shit like off of lonesome crowded west and moon and antartica

just noticed that in people as places and things the singer barks in the middle of the song. not like a dmx bark, but like a little poodle bark. i started cracking up when i heard it, funny as hell.
