Most over-rated part thread

they are weak at the foldy when u reinforce them

I'm actually sick of hearing that shit. I reinforced my pro, and it's lasted a year (granted I only ride about 8 months of the year but...) and here is what happened. You're right, it "weakens" the foldy, because thats the next susceptible spot. Bu actually, it doesn't. The reinforcements take a lot of the impact, and yeah, since the dropouts or front doesn't break, the foldy cracks.... EVENTUALLY. Actually, all of my welds on my foldy crakced and broke off, yet the rails are also held in by screws, so i just screwed them back on. My deck has cracks alllll over, yet it still rides with reinforcements.

lucky wheels arent over rated i never hear people saying they're good if they havent had them. and the phoenix deck is perfectly rated. its amazing. lol honestly best deck ive ever ridden

best deck is the lucky deck. and that is PERFECTLY rated!!!!!!

I love how these opinionated kids can speak their minds, but anyone that posts to the contrary automatically gets scrutinized. Gotta love biased opinions!

You cant hate eagles, As soon as u wear em in they rock. protos, i dehubbed a proto while it was my front wheel.

I would have to say the most overrated part of scootering is in fact, TSI, Proto Rippers, SCS, Inward bolt plates, and Proto Slayers.

thats completely false.... if u actually ride, regular razor/bug decks' foldys will just rip out. u kids will realize it once u start riding, old decks arent being ridden by pros because they are weak at the foldy when u reinforce them

Seriously the razor pro foldys arent all the way welded across the bottom, Weld all the way around, and repeat, it lasts forever as long as your welds are good and you dont fuck shit up. Yes this could take time and u could screw urself over but just buy another one its still $100 cheaper than a tsi

"T" 1 peice bars are so over rated, why spend money when u can just get a trolly bar and stick it in your t tube and bolt the t tube a shealth together, but 1 peice do look nice

I honestly think this is the stupidest but a smart thing to do. Why would you spend money when you could make a trolly bar. But why wouldn't you buy one piece bars that can last for a long time if treated properly. Especially if you buy parts from a company that has good warranty, for an example Proto replaces your bars for free if they break at the welds.
