Define "good." It's basically impossible to be "good" at riding because in order to figure out who's good, you have to compare riders to each other. Which we all know is bullshit because scootering is an individual sport, not a competitive one.

right here, you are telling the other person that they are wrong. you are stating it like it is fact, not opinion. when you do this, others are going to disagree and tell you that that fact is wrong, because it isn't a fact.
if you don't want to get into "gay fights", then don't state things like they're fact. yes, it is an opinion that you don't like alex's riding. but when you make comments like the one above, where you state it as fact, that's how arguments get started.
i'm not trying to start some argument either, but i just want you to learn that, even though you don't mean to, you are starting these "gay fights" by things you say. when you state things as fact, others will disagree and argue. try stating things as an opinion like saying "i agree that alex is creative and has good style, however, i don't think he deserves to get more recognition because i like riders who throw lots of flippy whippy tricks and park combos." or something of that nature. just keep that in mind. i will commend you on the fact that you didn't continue the argument and you let it be after the comments disagreeing with you.
on topic, my personal opinion is that anybody who gets creative should have more recognition. alex steadman being one of them.

What do you classify as good? I care for creativity more than I do for huge tricks. The quality and originality of the trick is much more important than doing over used tricks and such. At least for me anyway.

completely disagree, tbone is regarded as one of the best for a reason, because he is. he can fucking destroy a park and also shut down alot of other riders at a set and do it all with a good style. and no one really ever talks about steezeman anymore but he has the most style out of anyone riding right now

ok maybe i was wrong about tyler, he's been rideing for a long time a deserves the rep he has , but with alex , someone could ride for a couple months and be just as good as him (besides his fakie manual stuff )
