ok i dont wear them or helmets either but truly both save ur life for example raymond was flip tucking the pro box at realride he fell and slid on his knees without knee pads he would have killed his knees so yea they may look gay or feel gay but they really help out

Well I have a knee disease from baseball called osgood slaughter. and it hurts like a total bitch when you land hard on you legs and knees. So I wear knee pads no matter what.
