My Bar ends

I need to change my handgrips but i cant get the barends out, they seem to be stuck......any advice?

i have the same problem I'm trying to get my bar ends off my bmx bike and there stuck on i got one half way off

i have WTP barends.

take of the atcual bar take a screw driver and a hammer put it in the vice and bang on it

Plastic wtp barends right?

Then just screw it out a little and hit the head of the screw in the barend so the barend's locking system will come loose inside. Then the barend will come out easy.

but the barends are still stuck

Barry, take a screw driver or something, take off your handle bar from your t- tube, put the screwdriver/whatever in it, hammer the bar end out. I had to do it a few nights ago.

man, when are people gonna learn that plastic bar ends are a pain in the ass and should just not be used..

err just whack the thing around.Loosen all screws and tight things and hammer away.
