ok right now im painting my slayers black with colored splatters on them.

so far i did 5 coats of black and i was wondering if that seems like enough to start splattering an then clear coat tommrow?

should i do more coats of black or is 5 fine and how many of clear coat 5 as well?

Five is enough, and do 2-3 layers of clear coat.

it's enough. you can start with the color splaters

5 coats, at least it would scratch to the metal!
Do fluro/light colours and purple!
