ok guys i got this camera off ebay it was working fine until one time i turned it on and it started beeping and it said c:31:42 i cant rewind or fast forward or do anything to the tape and i cant record i can do stuff on the menu but thats it help would be greatly appreciated heres a clip of it if you dont understand what im saying http://www.savefile.com/filehost/files2.php?fid=4803555

compres your video next time, 10 mb for like 3 seconds, but it looks like your cam is broken. is it jsutn playback that doesnt work, or does it not film either?

start it up, take the tape out, start it up again, turn it off, put the tape back in and see if it works. that solves problems with my camera, but otherwise contact the seller and ask him about it, id go read the discription again or if you payed threw paypal get your money back

Or buy a Sony Vx2100

hes 14... no, thatd be a complete waste of money even if he had it.

save some money and buy a new $300-400 mini dvd

cuz the heads are gonna be screwed and the ribbon cable in the viewfinder will be screwed. exactly what happens to any vx1k they sell under 900 dollars.

It's starting to get harder to find a vx for 1000 bucks. Xia Xinde or w/e is selling refub'd ones for like 1250 - 1300 bucks.
