i had a cane creek s3 installed it kept coming loose with my threaded fork. i just switched back to stock to see if it was my headset and even my stock keeps wobbleing. i tightened it hard before it got to the point of not spinning and literally 2 seconds of riding and it was wobbeling unbelievably.
edit: i tightened my headet to the point of no wobble and then tightend my clamp all the way my bars wobbled like crazy. now there is something wrong with my clamp ?? uhhhgghh. FML

make sure you are running the right bearing race, make sure the bearing race is set right. if both of those are right, then tightening is just trial and error. it will take some time

I had this same issue with my thread less on my threaded fork. I tried using the threadlock that came with my DSA on the compression nut. Worked for a little bit. Otherwise, super tighten your clamp, that tends to keep it from coming loose for a little bit. I just got fed up enough to switch to SCS. youll probably do the same. :p

sorry, i was in my garage working on a clamp myself. for the shim, just cut slits out and put them under your clamp until its a good snug fit

If you tightened your headset to the point were your scooter diddn't spin, im sorry to say, you probbably shattered your headset bearings.

i had the same problem and i put 2 lock nuts on top 1 facing down and 1 facing up then tightened it and i works fine but make sure your clamp is touching the top lock nut. my bars need more or a better shim cus my bars wobble 2 with a defiant clamp and a shim made from a beanz can

i had the same problem with sky bars, i wondered if it had to do with the fact that they didnt have threads to screw onto your fork. i got slayers, and the problem was fixed
