My fiance and I on OC Register

Went to the A's at Angels game yesterday with Ron Sharpe. He came down for Saturday and Sundays games. We were walking into the stadium, And out front of the stadium is the Nick Adenhart memorial. The OC Register photographer saw my fiance and I wearing our Adenhart jerseys and said the photo would be awesome in front of the memorial. Considering Adenhart jerseys are extremely rare, forbidden to be sold through the MLB and Angels stores, both on MLB/Angels online and in store at the stadium. I managed to find an eBay store that sells them, anyways, check it...

Not bad! Why can't you buy the Adenhart jerseys at MLB/Angel stores?
Well, MLB and the Angels franchise refuses to sell jerseys with his name and number on them. Simply because they feel they would be exploiting the Adenharts family. I figured the Angels should sell them, and give a cut of the sales to the Adenhart family. But they didn't see that as respectful I guess, and I understand that.

People had tried to make custom jerseys on the online MLB Shop. By trying to use Adenhart and his number. Since MLB allows you to put your own name and a number on the jersey. But they reject all orders with Adenhart and/or his number. I guess MLB has a term of condition where they won't let you put someone elses name on the jerseys if they are no longer on the active roster. But I found a jersey store on eBay that sells on field road and home jerseys from pretty much any player in all teams history. The photographer saw the jerseys we were wearing while walking up to the stadium right by the Adenhart memorial. Thought it'd be a cool photo opp. I'm pretty sure my fiance and I have been the only person aside from Adenhart himself to step foot into the stadium with his on field jersey. I'm always getting props from people at games.
I even invested in a memorial patch for every jersey I own. You can see the patch on my fiances sleeve, mines hidden, haha. The proceeds from those go to the Angels baseball foundation. Money given to various charities. But I think at first the franchise gave the Adenhart cuts from sales on the patches.

For how long the Angels have been around, we have tons of it too, haha. Dodgers should have stayed in Brooklyn...
But on a lighter note, at least you aren't a Red Sox fan, hahaha. They are so god damn obnoxious, it's unbelievable.

I'm surprised you have a fanbase at all, being 16.5 games down.... hahahaha.
Either way, Dodgers still romp on you every year.
NL sucks. AL FTW!

It's a different story here. I hate their fans with a passion. They even act like they are obnoxious Bostonians. But the thing I hate the most, is the fact that at least 3/4 the fans here in So Cal are bandwagoner fans. They saw that the last five years have gone so well for the Sox that they decided they'd root for the winning team rather than their home team. Bandwagoners = Uber fail as a wannabe fans.
