My fork!!! NEED HELP!!!!!

I broke my fork today at the park so I put a different fork on, and then I was putting the bars on and it wouldnt go down all the way. Then I tried taking the bars off and it wasnt moving one bit, I even tried hammering the bars off and it didnt move at all. Does anybody have any advice to get my bars off?

PLEASE HELP ME!!

i had the same problem, i just put it on as far as i could and left it, but im sure someone knows how to fix it

make sure the bars are straight and try just twisting the bars out like theyre threaded to the fork lol

cause if youre trying to twist it off and the bars arent straight on the fork they could be stuck

tie the bars to the bumper of your car and tie the fork to a pole and floor it....
worked for me

put your front wheel one, put it in a vice, tighten the vice against the front axel, and twist the shit out of your bars

Nick I tried that and it didnt work. I might cut the fork and then try taking it out of the bars.

ahh cuting the fork, then ur left with a little bit of thread to grab onto, i wouldnt do that cuz it would be even harder to hold onto the little threads left u know what i mean. umm i would do what nick said but idk if that doesnt work

I tried hitting it with a rubber mallet sanchez and it still didnt come off. I doubt that will work.

Drip oil between the bars and fork, and hold the bars make sure the clamps are loose then rock the bars back and forth. Works for me.

Good idea Ian. Im gonna try taking a flat head screw driver and sticking it in the slit and stretching the slit so it will make it not as tight.
