My personal issues with SR these days

Anything I have/will ever say about jdben is not the way hes acted in the past. I dont care about that.. its the way he posts now that pisses me off. I've never wanted to 'look cool' in front of anyone, when most of the kids on here are 5 years younger than I am and that I'll probably never see them in person.

I apologize, I just hate smart asses. And anyone that knows me in person knows that if I have a problem, I am not afraid to address it.

For the sake of everyone else, I'll pm him in the future. Sorry.

I do agree that people rip on him for idiotic reasons and are not in any place to talk. I feel bad for ben, it would really suck to be in that position.

On another note, Brian, I agree 100%, but, unfortunately, until the sport matures a little more.. I dont see an end to any of the problems you addressed in the near future. Hopefully this thread will give peole a clue.

good call Brian. But i suppose you cant expect everybody to be perfect/mature on a scooter website consisting of a majority of riders <17 years old...but still, its good you voiced it.

-Little kids buying expensive parts? Im not going deep into this because its a personal thing. I've been around before there was company making parts, so when i see a little kid with every new part a week after they came out, and he can't even double whip, it personally pisses me off. I learned how to lock a folding mech by word of mouth. I learned all of my tricks on a rattle break new a with the bars wobbling back and fourth 5 inches. I earned my first pair of metal cores at XW, along with my buff bars. My buffs are the only after market part on my scooter today. The metal cores were GIVEN away. I hate seeing kids wasting mom and dads money, on the flip side its good for the sport, so i'm not gonna put up a fight about it.
Sammamish Skatepark every single kid there has aftermarket bars, forks, wheels and headsets i was there yesterday and out of those 10 or so kids there were 3 that could do more then a tailwhip and it wasnt even flat it was flyout...

lol corey and nate

edit spelled baboon wrong... only thing i could find wrong with that post
Actually, it's Babboon, according to them.
The mad grammer errors but this wasn't english class. Forming almost proper sentences is what is key.

But on the other hand, little kids with expensive parts, you could have skipped it... why do you even bother with them, once life hits them they'll realize few things... if theyr parents can afford it, let them enjoy..it's a win-win situation kinda...
Thats why i said its a personal thing, i see it differently since i been around so long, and i probably spent a fraction of the price on just buying new scooters than these kids do buying new parts. Thats one of the points that isn't worth arguing over, thats why i ended it saying its good for the sport.
I know exactly what you feel Brian and i find it weird to see kids with one-piece bars and metalcore wheels who can't even tailwhip here and there now and then. In the other hand, business is business and that what keeps the production, the development and thus the whole sport growing.

Fuckking kill me, call me Conor, ban me, criticize me, whatever. This website hasn't been enjoyable for the past few months like it used to be. But i know these issues just don't bother me, you guys did enough damage so i look at SR strictly as an admin more than a user. I only look for areas where i feel its only necessary to post. I guess thats a good thing though, and 85% of this websites users should start doing it, maybe there wouldn't be so much BS on here then. I realize i could be contradicting myself to thing i have said in the past, nobody is perfect when it comes to that stuff, so tear me apart. Half the posts i read anymore are JD ben this, or noob that... fuckouttahere
Somehow i knew this thread was coming, either from me, you or anybody else.
As for the last quoted part, that's pretty much why i hardly even look into SR.
Too much BS, drama, arguments, repeatative questions - i've seen them all
which is why i'm not interested in reading something i've read before.

We've reached the point where some people don't even know what new-A models are.
Or old-B's. These are all old terms/slang. I feel i've grown out of these forums.
I'm hardly doing anything as an admin due to my idleness (if that's a word),
which is caused by WEE. I spend way more time on business than riding & online scene,
so i wouldn't even mind if you or Buff would remove my admin privileges.
I'd like to thank all the other admins and mods who are doing a great job so far,
i'm not going to name any names because we already have endless amount of
staff, but you are all doing more than me these days. As for you Brian and Steven,
i admire that you're still in your position full of action, as i'm too tired of moderating
to go all this through from year to year, from generation to generation.

As far as my part of the online scene goes, I just want to do only content as planned
which is already going to happen later this summer or perhaps in autumn/winter.
