you didnt learn the tighten the bolts evenly so it doesnt just tighten in one bolt did you...

Idk what you are saying. But i would crank down both bolts 3/4 of a turn at a time alternting

you just tighten one bolt until you feel tension, then move on the next and tighten until theres tension, then back to the top one and continue til done

but dont tighten it a shit ton or your bolts will snap then clamp = dead
