hello everybody,
I own a 2000 honda x8r-s, it's a 50cc scooter which I acquired. I bought it as a summer project as it was a non-runner (that was last year) I have had a whole year of confusion,irritation and money loss due to the heap of s**t. The scooter is now running but far from correctly, it will rev all the way up as long as it's on it's centre stand and idle correctly but once it's under any kind of load it refuses to go over 1000rpm and if I try to drive it it won't go past 5kph and that goes down to zero at even the slightest of inclines. I have replaced the spark plug, fuel lines, ht coil, battery and carburettor but as of yet I have seen no improvement... Might it be something to do with the cylinder or piston rings? Anway I need help!
