my slammed miata

Hey guys, i havnt scooted for a few years now. But I did get into the slammed car scene. Anybody else on here into cars? I know scooters were kinda the rebel badass group when I was in middle and high school that noone else in the extreme sports group understands. Thats kinda how slammed/stance cars are in the car scene.

Thoughts/questions/concerns! Let me know!

Do people in the slammed community like to watch cars scrape going over a 2 cm bump sideways? I don't see whats so great about this but the filming side of it was creative.

Good to see you back on the forum, upset to see what you've been up to.
nice porsche though

This is a serious question.

Is there a reason to do that? Or is it just aesthetics?

its actually much more driveable right now. I raised it a half inch in the front. I just figured i would take a nice video before i made it drivable lol. And the main reason is for hard parking lol. like being the most bad ass mo fo in the parking lot. and for making ppl do tripple takes on the highway when a go kart passes them. its also quite fun to drive something so low. thats it though...no performance benefits to be slammed.

I, on the other hand, actually have a taste in automobiles. This is a very well done Miata, what kind of rims are those? The fitment looks killer aswell.

yeah man idk why all the damn hate, i mean yeah it's not super practical , but you did a super clean job on this thing not to much tire stretch not super flashy rims, looks nice imo :)

diamond racing wheels if im not mistaken? All of my buddies are into stanced, flush, and that lifestyle. Im starting on a ef hatch project hopefully in the next few weeks, coils, and diamond racings as well just to keep it clean for now. 2 of my longest know car head friends have had their cars on stance nation also. i like the miata looks really good dont let anyone bash you. Just coilovers, and spacers im guessing? no frame work or raised motor mounts? And heres pics of my buddies forester.
My boy johns forester you have probably seen it before.

Yea, I don't know what's up with all the hate either. I think it looks really sick, even though I'm not a huge fan of miatas. I working on stancing out an old volkswagen jetta, coils will be coming soon. Love the diamond racing steelies by the way, have yours bent at all? I heard they diform rather easily and the roads around here are unforgiving.

no ones hating, the modifications just look like your car has down syndrome (in my opinion) and make it perform worse, so people dont like them naturally. you like them for some odd reason but not everyone does. if the mods did something for performance and it wasnt just for a trendy show piece, it would be pretty nice. just because people dont like mods like this doesnt make them haters, it just practicality. that being said it's your car so you can do whatever you want to it, but dont ask for peoples thoughts about something unless you want to hear what they actually think.

my opinion; if you raise it a few inches dial down the camber and put tires that fit on it, it would be a pretty dope car.

Thats the thing, when a car is stanced its all about looks and not being practical. It makes driving a bit more tricky depending, but thats the fun of it. again its all about preference like everything discussed on here haha.

Nobody cares about your opinion on this subject, we've already established that you're about as car-savvy as Rob.
