So I'm thinking about making my own scooter parts, & if I get time my own scooters, but the problem is, I don't know what to include. Its gotta be pimped out to the max, any ideas for the scooter. After all, you guys should get a say in what you want in a scooter.

one word TITANIUM its expensive but worth it
titanium sucks. do not use titanium it will crack just as easily as aluminum and weigh more.

i used to ride a homemade scooter forever until i lost it. make the head either welded to the deck or else make the folding plates have only 2 holes so the head can bolt on with just 2 big bolts. make threadless forks with a star nut in the bars and a bolt going up from the forks. thats what me and kc did and its dank. make everything out of chromoly because chromoly is the best thing that can handle the shock from landings and will last way longer than aluminum or ti, and is stronger. if its a good design you can make it all out of chromoly and it wont weigh any more.think of making it as simple as possible with the least parts. that is what you need to do to make it as strong and light as possible. if you make heads you should get headtubes from solid bikes and make them internal. you can get them for like 7-10$ each then people can run internal headsets which is what i was going to do but im waiting until i finish some decks and have them for sale. which im hoping will be happen in the next 10 years haha.

Yeah titanium will crack as easily but i remeber once i had a good scooter and my dad knew a welder so he said he will weld it togher but it was Alluminum and he said it would cost alot and be quite hard and probably not very good but he welded it anyway. So if it was titamuim it would be good if it was so great that you just had to weld it back togher. Still I guess its not really worth it considering how expensive titanuim is.

Umm, I remember a quote by someone which was like: "In the beginners mind there are many possibilities, in the experts mind there are few." You should think about it, it applies to basically all of your posts here.

And that Was Pete Pachota with some knowledge, that put us all to shame, (lol). But seriously, I was thinking more add-ons, What type of Grip, Full deck or semi, What strength. Things like how the Fold mech always wears down & the T Tube becomes shaky & out of alignment
