Hello , yesterday was the worst scooter day i've ever had. It was pretty cool though. The sky was like not dark but not bright. It had no dark clouds but no clouds too lol. Sun was hiding somewhere. I said okay I need to go scooter now. I went to a skatespot with nice ledges to test out my new style of doing feebles. It was awesome. Before my first try, it started to drizzle lightly. Still scoot till it was too slippery for my wheels to grip. I went to a bike shop to hang out and look at shit while waiting for the drizzle to stop. Later it stopped and I had to wait for the floor to dry up.
While waiting for the floor to dry up, I went to a skate shop. After hanging out there , I went back to the skate spot. It was dry and nice. Feebles were AWESOME. After scooting for another while, it started to drizzle again. This time, it was slightly heavier and did not look like it was going to stop anything soon. I decided to get sad and go home. I went home by bus and it was a looong way.
When I got home, it was drizziling and light. I decided to get a drink and walk. The walk was long before I got home. I was like still drinking and drinking and the drizzle got into a heavy drizzle. I threw away that drink and scootered the rest of the journey. Then I realised that it was no more a drizzle. It is something called very heavy rain. Something like a storm. Small storm.
The water was like a blade while my wheels were moving, grips wet as fuck , my hat was soaked. There were water dripping down at the brim and my jacket was all wet. When I got to the gate of my house which was sheltered, I looked at my scooter. The grip tape was..... Spoilt. It had small puddles of water on it. I could not see the sand but only see the water moving on the grip tape.
My bearings would be fine as they are ceramic bearings. My headset was not fine though. When I got home, I placed my scooter above my electric heater with a hair dryer blowing on everything. Soon the grip was dry and everything too. Its all fine now but it was not fun getting wet like that and wheels sliding like I don't know.
Uhh post about incidents you had like that too.
