Natural or Unatural?

I thought to myself this morning i have been riding scooter for nearly a year and, to be honest i am not that good... But people have been riding for 4 months less than me and are killing me. So this leads to the question; are you like me and have to work to become good scooter (Unnatural). Or were you born for scooters and excelled quickly at them (Natural).

I think its to do with, how often you ride, who you ride with, how long youve riden for and where you ride.
also Practice :)

yeah, if you ride like once a week on your drive your not gonna get as far as some one who rides park every day after school for like 5 hours (that would be me in the summer, lol but not winter)

i think riding without someone else and even being on SR helps. i know last summer before i was on SR i tried to do tricks and sucked. but i found SR and then like a month later landed my first 360s and whips.

but how much you ride deff is the biggest factor, its unusual for me to not ride at least once a day, and for what i ride, i'd say i'm pretty good.

relax. hes just asking a question...

anyway.. it dosnt matter if your good you just have to have fun. scootering is for fun. you dont have to be doing backflips and triples to be good.

thats just my opinion.. :)

^^^very true alisha.

I think how much you ride also matters, and if you have the balls to try new tricks/gaps all the time.

i can only ride in my skatepark every sunday because there is a fence and the owner calls the cops on you if you jump cause it says on the sign "no scooters or bikes" so i just jump the fence and ride(sometimes) i dont realy care what they do..

its just hard work and practice. some people have more guts obviously, so they take less time to do crazy stuff, but its all practice. when i started out it took me 4 months to learn a tailwhip, and another 6 months to learn a dub whip. i learned tripple whips within the next month, then started to put whips into my other tricks (bars, spins, grabs, manny combos, stuff like that)

my advice, learn the basics, and get them dialed. then you'll find it much easier to progress
