Need Help With Scooter Mechanics!

Alright so I've recently mastered my tailwhip :) And I'd like to get more in depth with scooting. My first question would be about bars. How tall should my bars be? I'm 5'8" and I typically like my bars about 35 inches from the ground. How tall should my actual bars be if i were to purhcase some? My next question would be, about clamps, and forks. What are they really? What should I know about them? I have an old micro scooter with adjustable bars and a folding neck, so I'm really lost. Any help is appreciated!

Some good decent bars for there money are inward T bars, there around 54bucks and you can find em on inward-scooters.com, you can learn about forks and clamps and all about scooters on certain sections on the forumss. Use these to learn about bars/decks/forks/etc.

Just lurk around here with out being a dick like some people do, and you will learn and have fun :p.
Basically, practice heaps and decide whether you really want to get into scooting before going and splashing all of your money on it. If you decide you want to then go for it :p

Inward T bars are great from what I hear but I can't get them (i'm in aus)

Wheels, if you need decent ones, just get stock razor pro wheels (like 5 bucks each), and if you need to put some hotglue in the core like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PhvwCv2CZU

Thats really all you need to start off. Probably bolt the folding mech in the scooter aswell to get rid of some of the play.

when standing on the deck let your arms hang down and where you palms are that's a good heighth. But its whatever you like some riders tend to ride with low bars ***cough Aussies cough*** <33 while others ride higher its all up to you
