I need to get a metal core for back, pretty quick... I live in AUS so no international stuff... budget is $45..

Yeah i was thinking about the yak metal cores, but skaterhq has overpriced them a bit.. i was considering these? http://www.bladeschool.com.au/viewer.htm?stockimages/1235.jpg It says they only meant for front but im a light rider, but then again i do big street things so idk...

I've got one of those metalcores similar to the Bladeschool ones on the back at the moment. I doubt I'm anywhere near as hard of a rider as you but the wheel is wearing down quite fast and they do get a lot of the cracks in the urethane. Quite fast wheels though.

my friend just got skats two days ago and now the plastic things in the middle are already f*cked up

yeah thats me. ha. there not even bad wheels, ther only problem with them is the plastic part for the barings keep sliding out. but i just put some silicone in there to lock them in. and im gonna se how they are tomorrow. so if ur only spending $45 just get the yak skats. all together its 29 bucks.

If you can, spend tha extra 3 bucks and get the eagle. Seriously, everyone ive talked to lovesss their eagle, you can slap it straight on the back and throw down and it'll be fine.
