Okey guys , here's the story... My dad is in USA. and he wants to buy a camera for me.. i told him i'd like Panasonic pv-gs320 with kenko fisheye. So , he e-mailed me and told that gs320 is last year product and he can't find it anywhere. Then i told him buy a Canon HV20 or HV30 .. but he thinks that our computer is way too slow for HD video editing.

Now i need help .. What camera should my dad get me or where i can find gs320? And how good cpu you need for HD editing ?
Or any suggestions what camera is good and about 500$~
(Sorry for sloppy english)

I got myself banned.
GS320 is going to be hard to find if you don't want to buy it on the internet. Easiest place to find it is probably ebay.

Your computer needs to be half decent to edit HD on. I would say minimum for decent performance probably like a 2ghz dual core processor, 2-3 gigs of RAM and a decent video card and MAD hard drive space.

Any mini DV 3ccd SD video camera will probably do for you, don't go for any hard drive junk they suck.
