new barends

[simplicity]

I don't understand why a bike/scooter company doesn't make weighted barends which would be better for bar spins? Sort of what addict is doing.

so it is still a normal bar end, just heavier weighted, and rubber on the end to keep it from wearing down. Someone start production ASAP!

The bar-ends that came with my blunt grips havent broken yet, those have lasted like 2 months.

not only can barends prevent you stabbing yourself, they also protect ur bars from denting, as well as getting dirt and shiitt in them

Do barends create a forcefield that blocks the bars from hitting you? No.

You can "stab" yourself with or without barends. They are literally the most useless peice on a bike/scooter. Instead of trying to find a way to make them wear down less just don't use them, the bars are metal, they can handle falls. Plus that 1" of plastic doesn't do shit to keep the bars from denting or bending.

Getting smacked in your hand/leg/finger/man parts will hurt way less with bar ends that spread the impact than thin metal that could (and has in the past to me) cut you.

i can honestly tell you that i have had my odyssey par ends for 3 years..no joke. they will last you a life time and no matter how hard you drop youre scooter they wont break or wear down, mine are still good!
