heres some pics.... I just need to know if you can get those stems with a 1 1/8 diameter to fit the cups? and if I did then when I put the fork in I would put spacers on it because the threads dont go that far down which means lowering bars alot but it seems if this could fit scooter cups it would be fucking amazing tell me what you think

If it's a regular stem, with 1-1/8" hole, then it will only mount the fork. You could make a steerLESS scooter. You would need ~1.338" (34mm) ID hole to fit in headset cups which will fit on 1-1/8" forks.

Btw, it'll make the nose really up big - it'll change the whole feel.
For third thing, if it'll fit any cups (idk, like smaller headsets for 1" forks?), then it won't be solid. Never ever, because of the height of the "headtube" and the headset stacks which are too small to be solid in a stem and because it has a space and bolts in it instead of just a simple solid headtube.

Cool find, but not useful.

Eh...

It might work, but like Madis said, the cups wouldn't really be solid. You'd have to use SR forks with it too unless you had tons of spacers because the threads on normal forks don't go down that far, being as the headtube would be maybe a third its original size. The headtube would also be loads lower, making the bars lower and the deck higher, and probably making the bar angle really funky.

Man i think this idea already will fall down because the stem's inner diameter is standard 1-1/8", which is the standard outer diameter for forks, there's no way you can put a headset on that, like i said.

wait thats a ramp? I thought the scooter guy was jumping off that white ledge over the bike to flat?

back on topic it sounds like it wouldn't work, but it would be cool to actually see it work though.

Haha, sorry Dylan but this goes nowhere. Even if you could fit some cups in it and mount the fork, the deck would end up being severly slanted backwards, so unless it was going to be a downhill scooter, this would suck.

if you milled out the back a bit to fit bigger wheels on it it would be a sturdy ass scooter and deck room probobly wouldnt be compromised because you could stand where the folding mechanism use to be
