do you think his age is really bothering him? you have people that are sponsored for scootering that are well into there 30s or 40s in some cases and people making fun of their age doesnt bother them, if he wants to start a company then he will

I suggest doing what I did starting Torn. I had an idea, got it prototyped, THEN toy'd around with the idea of starting a company. Next you should write a business plan and take some business classes. And you say you have money, but it takes wayyyy more than I ever thought it would to do all of this stuff (prototyping, production, ect). That's why with Torn, I don't pay myself (I have another job). All the money made from Torn goes back into making new, better parts.

THIS is "mature for the age". So stoked for Torn.

i think everyone that starts a company is pretty optimistic. being optimistic isnt exactly the key to success.

ive seen SOOO many companys that start making shirts and stickers, say they have a plan, even some that designed parts.. then just failed.

it costs thousands and thousands to get a legitimate company rolling.. i doubt at 12 you have that kind of money.

You have to start with something you can manage and do well. Choose a product you believe in and that people like. Theres nothing wrong with selling t shirts, if has a good design on people will buy it and then you can make money!!
