it's not just "few poeple on the top of the team"

we were at the beginning of the project, this project is even older than when koxx saw for the first time a scooter.

we contacted them to develop something, with our vision of ride, friendly, an real team, open to every body,

time after time we seen that they didn't trust us as it should have been ( no responsibilities, no control, ... no money ^^ ).

i worked during 9 month at K124 house (in coulommiers (Fance), as designer, to design all futur parts (with Johann, but he wasnt at K124 office), i designed like 15 parts, 8 month after only 2 parts are made in prototype, and half of them are not like i designed (deck for example )).

sure balth is a good guy, sure the new team will be great, sure this new deck will be great,
but you can call it as you want but not "frenchID", it's like an new brand, with an new spirit, maybe good, maybe bad ^^, but not the spirit we've try to devlope during two years.

for example in france today, koxx don't want sell frenchID product for dissidence (our shop) anymore, they just want sell all frID product in k-124 shop, to make more money .... that's the solution ? that's our vision of the ride ? no, it's not frenchID.
FrenchID still's the name, but it's another roots now, far away from the one at the begining.

I find it sad that you had to give up on such a great project and I wish you the best of luck with whatever you're doing now (is it dissidence or back to Carneval...) ... the scooter community needs more people like you...cheers!

frenchID will have a new way, every thing is good for the scooter riding, (more brand, more pro riders, more video, more mediatic impact, more budget), and maybe an opportunity for lot of riders to find an new place in this little world of lucky riders.

just want that people understand that we worked during 2 years, changed way of school, then stopped school ( me and Johann ) to be 100 % on scooter development, and that for what ? (finally kids just remember the name "frenchID" nothing for our work (video editing, contest, life style, ideas, time), our sacrifices, and now frenchID begin to be an of the famous scooter brand, and start to do profits, not like 2 years ago).
now we will restart every thing (it's our choice), just with good people, friends graphist, not based on full shark economical strategy^^

but i trust in balth, he will certainly create something much more better than if an other rider did this work, even more than if koxx did that alone ( they don't know nothing about scooter world alone )

Hey guys, i'm kind of trying to make something good with French ID because I think there's still something to do or whatever... There's a new team, I plan to organize contests but i know it's not the same spirit as before. Less rock'n roll, maybe less creative or whatever. If nobody else does it, French Id'd be really dead. I won't sacrifice my life to scootering because i'm going to work in scientific research and have no will to make a living out of this. I'm doing my best so some new riders have sponsors (Eric Ostrom, Antoine Delcampe...). At the moment, I have a lot of troubles making scooters better because I was not aware at all of French ID projects and I kind of get the crap other did before.

-I'm doing that to have a professional experience additionally to my studies...

-I'm not doing that for money, that's why I'm on the pro team because I can keep riding without worrying about buying my parts in exchange of all the work i did so far. I don't know if my riding is good enough, if you think it's unfair, you guys should let me know so I disappear from this team (but I'd still do the work).

-This deck was a prototype and it's already broken. It's heavy but it can still be rode perfectly on street, you just need a lot of practice (exactly like a micro scooter ,look how benJ kills it). That deck is not finished and I wish it was better, i just ride it because it's cool to ride it, but I can't do all my tricks with it.

- French ID still has a lot of products to come, which are tested and if they're crap, I will do my best so the team gives suggestions to improve them and make them stronger/lighter/more stylish... I remind you that i don't care if K124 goes bankrupt or whatever, I have no responsabilities so I do my best but with no stress.

-Whatever kevin and johann are creating, i also know it'll be good because they have a good feeling for creativity and the best riders followed them. Though they have the opportunity to create something new from scatch. I insist on the fact that if French Id products take a long long time to come and if they are not as good as before, it's not my fault because all the crap done before by k124 was not mine. The deck profile is heavy : I didn't say anything about it, i was not on French ID yet...
So please take it easy, I was really disappointed when i saw how heavy the prototype is.


-About k124 shark economic policy, I just don't agree about it ...
but they sponsor a team so I believe everything's not that bad.

--> French Id is not dead, but it's still not totally alive

there is no headtube left! Knowing FRID it's probably lighter than stock. Hopefully they will be the first company to implement geometry into their designs to accomplish that.

Haha..some people... have..lotsss of info about it. But I'm with Johann...doesn't really seem like it will hold up from what I've seen. Just looks to thin (deck wise) Some of the people on frID, like their new dudes..who kill street...I can see them working that deck over easily. Cool design though haha.

French ID is more alive than you think...the fact that it changed few people on top of the team doesn't mean anything...

Can't wait to see what FrenchID will bring out...

Last I had heard, K124 was slacking big time, so FrID was pretty much stuck in a grave too deep to climb out of. Considering they will have to look elsewhere to get parts made.
if only you guys even knew. I have some information I just can't spill about this deck...
