I've ridden Addy's, and it was really weird. I would NEVER trust it on street at all, but it might be ok if you just flowed around around parks and stuff.

i was wondering what that was the whole time in nbs4 looks sick ass hell but whipping an extremely light scooter i shard... it just doesnt feel right..

Yeah its Titanium. But its not so expensive here. When i finished maybe like 20$-30$ for one tube. ;)

can't believe that that is really titanium, cause good titanium parts for bikes kost more and they are much smaller, and in the RC sport there is much use of titanium and a piece ot 20 cm x8mm coast 200Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?¬......

so I don#t think you use good titanium ore a special aluminium legierung...

to the carbon scooter,
Carbon just can be used ifyou want to have a scooter you want to go on high speed without jumping, like the bikes. roadbikes are out of carbon, and the BMX are out of steal. if you would make carbon BMX bikes which are the same strenght then you have to use much carbon and the bike would'd be lighter, but much expensier.....

Titanium would be the best material making good Skate scooters..., only problem a good one will cost much but if it's made good it would hold vorever... And if you want to get a cool finish and the strongest scooter on earth you can take some thousends of Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?¬ and let the scooter put into a special oven ...
as result of this the titanium gets this special gold finish and is much stronger, but you can#t do that yourself... so you will have to buy for that.... much much money................

The reason Ti is so expensive on bikes is because you buy it from the companies, and since not many companies make them they can sell them for loads more than they're worth. I know a guy whose bike has almost every single nut and bolt replaced with Ti ones, but he bought them online from other, non-bmx places. He just found out the size and threading and everything and it was loads cheaper.

Pretty expensive but in the other hand, it's Ti. Then the whole bar should be Ti because only a steertube won't bring much in.

Oh and by the way, no profit advertising here without asking permission from Andrew.

lol, coire. I wonder if your rating there is actually serious. probably just some mod playing a joke lol. Pretty funny though ahaha.

It may be funny for you, but i'm dead serious.

I could get Ti, but it's expensive as hell. I almost let some homie to make me a stem out of Ti, and the whole work would have cost like over 100$. Btw Ti is as strong as steel but it weighs 42% less than steel.
Ya, I just got it all cleared up. I just didn't know at the time about what he did...

If I was rich, I'd buy titanium parts, but I'm in major debt right now. Plus he lives in Sweden, so shipping would cost about a third of the price to buy the bars, which would be expensive as hell in titanium. It's still a pretty sick idea if you managed to pull it off.
My idea was to make an Elementary stem rip-off but with minor adjustments so it could fit on top of the custom steertube, but the system become a little stupid and there's no point of making it since i have 40$ rad v2 bar, which is generally lighter than a bar with a stem, cheaper and practically has the same strength.

The carbon fiber scooters really aren't all that great, I know if I had one I'd barely ever ride it because they just feel sooooo weak. They'd sure be cool just to have on a shelf or something but that's about it.

if i had one id probably reinforce it with some steel or aluminum all over where i think it would break so its still light and then ride just park and very light street.

Carbon fiber sucks for trick riding scooter because it's enlongation is low. Enlongation is how much the material bends or stretches before breaking if we apply some kind of force. This is important when it comes to scooters, because a scooter usually breaks in the moment of impact.

And congratulations if you can machine titanium. To drill through my steel bar we had to buy an expensive drill which was made (or only coated) of... titanium. Guess what kind of tools do you have, some diamond ones?
