New hang 5 technique?

Idk, I always hated doing hang 5 and I guess I still do, this is just something I randomly did riding back home. Most people do hang 5s by putting their front foot on the foldy and the back foot in the air. My way:

1. Put your back foot in the front of the deck.
2. Kick your front foot forward, like somewhere in front of the front wheel.

I guess this looks ugly as hell but you get some crazy balance this way.

haha its pretty much teh same thing, some people do kick like behind them, but others dangle their other foot like right near the front wheel, at least i do

so (assuming you ride goofy) you would have your right foot out and foreward on the right side and your left foot on/just behind the foldy?

hahaha that just means youre goofy. its the same thing only you like to use your other foot to balance.

No, Im regular, but i guess it's easier to put your foot forward if it's your natural front foot. Putting your back foot forward makes you twist yourself around into an unnatural stance with another foot in the front.
Idk, ignore this if you want, maybe Ive just accidentally found a way to do a trick I could never do, and Im acting weird. Just never seen people doing them like that and maybe someone can find this helpful.

i find it easier to keep my arms straight and locked and only bend them if i need to catch balance.
i was just doing that the other day and it helped tons.

i also keep my front foot as close to the front wheel as possible like you said.

I just lock into a nose manual and slide my foot off the deck to the side of where it was on the deck... I guess I'm stupid.

I don't even move my feet at all, I just keep them in the same place I always have them for hang fives (and for pretty much all other tricks as well, one of my biggest pet peeves is changing stances all the time when getting ready for or landing a trick, that is for skateboarders) and as john said, locking your arms helps A LOT, trust me.
