9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: Firstly; I have been on SR for a long time now, i come on every day to read up on whats happening in the scootering community. I love the fact that there is somehwere that riders can talk and discuss parts and tricks. However, what has annoyed me for a while now is SR is becomming much busier and the rules seem to be drifting away abit. This is something that i want to change, becomming tighter on the rules, Warning people who are out of order or break the rules. Being a new moderator would be a fantastic oppurtunity for me to be able to enforce these rules and be able to lock or delete threads, warnings etc to show people what is wrong and wright and to make SR a much easier and more enjoyable place to come to now.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I have 7 years worth of scootering experience, i have experience on other forums and i know exactly how things should be done.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: Nobody cares about any of the rules, people post multiple threads, people starting fights and silly arguments
12) What you like most about SR currently: Somewhere riders can meet and talk, which is great for me, seeing as i live all the way over in Scotland, which is no where near any other riders.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: The attitude of pople on it, the way people act on it, and multiple threads on the same quesations over and over again.
14) Your plan for changing these things: Heavily and closely watching the threads, and maintaning what is going on in the forum. Showing people and tellin people where they are going on, not just simply deleting and locking threads, and then shout at people if they do it again, I think that if people are shown how to use SR and what it should be used for, what is goin on is less likely to happen.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I come on here lots, im generally sick of whats going on and it needs to be changed, i am ready to step up for this responsibility and start improving the attitude on Scooter Resource and remind people what its really for, talking about scooters and scootering, not starting silly arguments or useless threads..

I always try to help others, and even though I make a lot of posts, almost all, if not all of them, are helpful. I'm always in the Sell Your Stuff, Looking To Buy, and Trading sections so I can moderate them often and lock the threads that don't have pictures and such. Also, I have moderated other online forums, too. I moderated the music section and several video game sections on the SuperCheats forum. I was also a Hub Mod on there, I had control over many sections of the forum. I like SR a lot, and I want to help keep it a good place. I don't like how there are so many ignorant people on this forum that trash talk everybody for no reason.

9) Why do you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators? i think i am qualified to be one of the new moderators because i oftenly check SR so i am up to date with what is going on, i follow the rules posted, and can be of great help finding and aid in the removal of "junk" in the threads and users breaking the rules.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can? something unique i can offer that no one else can is great knowledge of the scootering community and can keep people up to date such as new products, new events, sponsorship availabilities, etc. because i check SR and other scooter sites, such as InsideScooters and TheRideWire as well as companies websites for updates or news on their products, on a daily basis.

11) what is your biggest complaint about SR currently? The lack of discipline over forums thus causing too many pointless threads of things previously asked, and fights between people in the threads.

12) What do you like most about SR currently?i like that SR is still helping the scootering community grow and is a way of being up to date with news in the community.

13) What are things you think need to be changed on SR? More locking of threads that have been posted multiple times, more discipline over users who break rule 2 of no cursing/swearing and do it on a regular basis.

14) Whats your plan for changing these things?My plan is to look over each thread and help clear out/lock threads that have been asked many times/inappropriate and check threads for vulgar language/cursing and let them have the consequences.

How I heared about SR: from Charles Doidge, and Max Pudans

Why I am qualified: I on SR at least twice a day, and lookl at threads in most of the sections. I feel as if i make MATURE decision unlike some people on this site. I would make just decisions when it comes to warning people and locking threads. I have been riding since 06 so i know alot about scooters. When a new members join and make a mistake i think someone should help them and not have others flame them for making a mistake. And i will try to stop all the drama on this site (which will be a challenge). And try to stop all the people acting tough over the key board.

What i have to offer: I feel that i would offer a more frequent moderation than some people who are mods, that would be fair and just

What i dont like about SR: what i dont like about SR right now is all the hate and disrespect people show to their fellow scooter rider, and how everyone has tough fingers but in real life they wouldn't say a quater of the things they type. And how everyone posts "cool story bro"

What i like about SR: What i still find enjoyable about SR, is how its still the #1 place for people to talk to fellow riders, and seek advice about tricks parts etc.

What needs to change: What needs to change is riders showing other riders more respect. and stop making drama causing threads. And that people need to start following ALL the rules.

How i will change things: I will moderate the fourms daily looking for useless threads and users try or causeing drama.

Anything else to say: I have always found joy in reading the fourms on this site, and in the pass month i have seen things go bad with all the mods quiting and having only 3 people to try to keep this site functional and if i were chosen i would help this site get back to it's old ways of a friendly place to talk to fellow riders

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: My dad works as a quality control manager in the metal industry so I know a lot about metal, so I can answer questions people have about different metal strengths and good metals to use for different things because I have seen a lot of threads about things like that.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: I am tired of all the threads being made that already have answers, people don’t search thing and they make pointless threads and just push good threads down and waste peoples time.

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I feel as if I'm somewhat of an OG to the forum (I've experienced the original chatbox on the side of the homepage lol) and have a good knowledge of how the forum works and should work.

11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: Too much clutter with kids posting similar threads.

I try to stop fights when they happen, and I do my best to avoid posting anything that could arouse a confrontation.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I am friendly with basically every member on SR and I dont think that anyone dislikes me on the site.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: There are too many fights going on about pointless stuff, and too many grudges/rivalries/ people hating on each other.
12) What you like most about SR currently: I love that the entire scooter community can come together and talk, share pictures, videos, ideas, and everything else. Because the scooter community often faces harasment from others, SR enables all of us to stick together from around the world and know that there are other people in our same predicament.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: I think the rules have to be enforced more firmly. Rule #1 states that all riders should be respected, but that does not happen on SR. People bag on each other all the time for the stupidest of things. "Oh you suck NOOB!!!!!" and "DOOD THAT SCOOTER SUCKS" are just stupid comments aimed to start arguments, and they need to end. Many people on SR are all around disrespectful and jerks to each other, and that needs to change for the community to stick together.
14) Your plan for changing these things: I would be sure to patroll the site, hand out warnings when necessary, and try to keep the site as clean as possible with my alloted power.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I am frequently on as just a user and I go on nearly every sub section. As a mod, I would be on the site more often and I would do my best to make the site a better place.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I am educated in a way not many even get the chance to be educated. I grew up on the streets of NYC, and I have experienced a lot of stuff that I am proud of and not proud of. I also have a keen way of wording, typing, vocabulary, and internet courtesy.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: The admins have no respect for the users. Current users bash each other because they know nothing will be done. NO ONE follows the rules, and nor does ANYONE enforce the rules.
12) What you like most about SR currently: I love the people, and the history. I have made some of my best friend through SR, and with the use of the SR community. SR has also showed me thing in life that don't even relate to scooters. Some of these things are that children only respect what they see and not what they know. Another thing is that there are so many members, and that the community has grown due to the fact that SR was created, and is still around.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:I think that SR's staff needs to be completely re-arranged, and that the admins who have abused their power should be rightfully demoted. This community is too small to have people ( especially uneducated admins ) making a fool of themselves while at the same time making SR look childish, and immature. I feel that if BUFF were around more, more people would respect the concept of " a " power, and an " owner ".
14) Your plan for changing these things: I plan on changing these things by personally speaking to Andrew when and if I get the position. I feel that communication with the owner of the website would greatly improve the effectiveness that this site used to have.

I also have balls and I know what to say to a person who needs to be put into their place. I am also good friends with many members of the community.

I think that definately needs to be changed, and you should totally bring back scooter of the month potw cotw. If i were a administrator i would keep that running and updated weekly.
