New Mod.

hm . like tell us after a few months how its holding up .. i break shit alot so i need all the strenght i can get . im just sticking with bolts for now

Well put also the bolt at the back as you would do with normal bolting.

Edit: and maybe drill a hole below where you would put the first bolt when bolting the normal way and bolt it there so you get a totaly hybrid setup.

dude, that one tiny little bolt wont last long. Get 2-3 big bolts instead 1 tiny bolt, which will eventually brake on a sketchy landing, because two big bolts have a big coefficient of friction effect.

Yo kevin i think it was a good idea. I was wit you last night and thats the only bolt u had on and it did nt even move a lil. If i was you just put in like 2 more long bolts just in case.

I got done with making it stronger today. I used a bolt about 3/4-1inch and put it in the neck to the front of the mech. I also used 1 b model bolt. Really tight and looks and feels alot stronger.

Ill post pics tomorrow night or something.

still seems like a shitty support idea, I would think it would be better to have a washer between the bolt and the scooter that way it won't wear away at it. just looks sketch.

Like I said, a smaller bolt, and no it wasnt off a scooter. You cant really see it because its in the neck, the first hole is useful because now i can stick an allen key in there and tighten it.

I did almost the same thing when I did that with the bolt in the folding mech but I had the bolt going all the way through the neck. It didn't break like that but it kept getting wiggle because the neck kept getting squished down and I'd have to tighten it and that would go on and on until I just locked it normally. With the bolt only going through part of the neck it might work though.
