New Razor A Model folding mech mod

I've been out of the scene for quite a while and I want to get back in. I'm in Australia and all that is really available to me is Razor A, A2 and A3's all the new types :( . They have these really weak folding mechanisms and I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of any ways to bolt these kinds of folding mechs. The type i'm talking about look like this

and I have seen one mod done by someone from an Aussie scooter forum that looks like this

were the folding mech is it comes with that thing in front of the foldy so u drill a hole at the back of the folding mechanism(the bit facing u) and u gotta take that little skrew out keep drilling till its comes out the other end of the foldy and drill through that piece of metal where u took the bolt out then put a skrew through and tighten it and it will be fully strait like vertical becoz i know i hate it wen regular razors come and there heaps far bac and its hard 2 do tricks so if u want a razor straight like a blade or a madd do this mod."

^That's what he posted about it, but I notice that in the picture the bolt that normally goes through from the side is taken out so he can do one going through the middle but don't you think I could keep the stock one in and make my own hole lower so I can have two to reinforce it better?

If you have any ideas of mods for new A's or know if the mod I featured would be worth it I'd like to hear about it.

and please no "Get a pro model or old A" type posts because it is unfeasible.

even if you fix the foldy, you still have to worry about that peice of paper that resembles a alumunim deck. I snapped five of them last year in two months, and the biggest thing i did was a 7 stair.

i would just take that little thing in the middle just get a good size bolt and nut but those crack easily

Any shop I go to in Aus either has a JD bug or Razor scooter and they are both built the exact same and look just like that picture I posted, the only differences are like a little back wheelie bar.

^Thank you josh bedwell and to the other thanks, So I think I should reinforce my deck and try that mod that I posted, hope I don't split the folding mech

I got myself banned.
If you lock a new A your just going to break it quicker than with it unlocked. When its locked you take more powerful rips on the handle bars when you jump to rip the deck at the mech verse when its loose. Put a B mech on or buy a pro.

Once I get camera, I'm gonna make a thread how to make these nice and tight and forward. There is a way, but its too much to type and won't make any sense. I did it for my friend when he broke his pro. He rode it for a few months and theres still nothing wrong with it.
