Hi guys :)
I am moving from BMX to scootering, and will be getting a scooter for Christmas! There is a rough budget of about £150, $235 for you US guys;) What do you think would be the best scooter for this budget? Thanks a lot,
Joe :)

get an ultra pro, some cheap metal cores, any bmx grips, and some new grip tape.
that should be good for a while and it only costs about 175 USD.
if you want to make your scooter super dialed then spend a little more money and get a sealed threadless headset and a magray flex brake.

I'd go with the Ultra Pro 60$ on Amazon, then do one of these two choices:

Plan A
Customize and leave threaded:

New bars 70$
New wheels 50$
grips griptape 15$
Flexy $20
Total:205$
This is cheaper but not exactly better, in terms of strength.

Plan B
Convert to threadless:

Proto SCS 60$
District Headset 31$
JB weld RUP forks (this will convert them to threadless) 7$
Paint bars 10$
Get new wheels 30$-50$
Grips and griptape 15$
Flexy (make your own)- 5$
Total:237$ max

I would spend a little extra and do plan B, it will be better in the longrun, but if you want extra money, plan a is the way to go.
PM me if you have any ?'s
Hope this helped
