I would rather go HFX then HDR. The gamma curves are better on the HFX and the picture on the HDR is really noisy. Worst part is the menu control. Its a little nob right under where the tape ejector is. You would have to have a little bitsy finger to use it, and you cant mod it with a bigger wheel because it would block the damn tape ejector.

I got to play with one over at this studio I might be working at until I leave for collage, and I just couldnt stop finding so many problems with it.

It does have a good payment plan though :D

if your getting this to just film scooter riding. thats dumb as hell dude. a camera like this is for like pros and shit that work and studios and whatnot. what else do you film??

Right now I just film scootering. But I know Im gonna start to film tons of stuff cause im planning on being a pro filmer when I grow up. Also I want a really good cam that would last me at least 3 years. I was originally going to get the canon hf20, but then I realized it would of only lasted me like a year. Plus I can definetly afford it cause im selling tons of shitt on ebay.
