haha no worries dude, they don't work because they're a 1 3/8 outer diameter. that means that they are oversize. but since theyre aluminum, they have to be thicker in order to be as strong as steel. so the inner diameter is 1 1/8. also, forks have an outer diameter of 1 1/8

baby scs needs bars that are 1 1/4 in order to fit (chromoly bars)
HIC needs oversize bars (1 3/8) with an inner diameter of 1 1/4.

since aluminum has to be thicker to be the same strength, in order to work with baby scs they would need to be 1 1/4 outer diameter. however if they were that size they would have a 1 inch inner diameter, meaning they wouldnt slide over forks. they would have to be 1 1/2 outer diameter to work with HIC, but then no aftermarket clamps that are currently made would fit.

yeah, it's all about how the clamp is made. proto clamps don't strip very easily at all, but districts strip super easy.

i'll tell you one thing though, the clamp that torn has in the making, if it works like it should, will be almost impossible to strip...

sorry i just saw this but, ive had a district clamp that lasted me longer then 3 half knucks.

oh nice, well im talkin about generally. its about how many threads there are on the other side of the clamp and district has less than proto which leads me to believe that, generally, proto strips less.

ive got an envy custom scooter "the complete" will it fit on that.

also what are the best looking grips for it that are comfy just i dont like mine but maybe theyre good ive gotthe red/black one so... whats best

Yes, it will fit on that. Are you running the Blunt IHC forks? If so, you'll need to get an oversized clamp too, such as a District or Proto clamp.

A lot of people like ODI longneck grips, I prefer animal edwins or cult grips, however.
