new ultra pro

I rode one today, looked at it. it was barely thicker. i would go with the tsi still. cuz you break a razor. they say too bad.

Barely thicker?! it's twice as thick as a Pro Model. Plus more metal surrounding the rear wheel adding support to the drop outs.
Am I the only one realizing for less than the price of a TSI deck by itself, you get a great set of bars, a much better and stronger stock fork and a higher quality deck than a Pro?! I guess all I can say is don't knock it til you try it, and to not jump to the conclusion that it's going to suck right away. Because believe it or not a lot of really good riders were impressed with it. A few of which not being fond of Razor to begin with...

Also, John. Not sure exactly when they shipped out. I think they either just shipped or are about to ship out orders. I heard around a week ago that they were shipping around now. But that's word of mouth, so who knows for sure. Maybe Nick Darger can come in here and answer that question since he works at Scooter Zone.

well i loop out like a mofo on old a's i just hope thats not how this one feels
If you ride pros and loop out on old a's theres something wrong there. If you ride old a's and switch to pros you loop out like crazy

so the deck length is the same as an old A

like from where the headtube meets the deck to where the brake meets the deck?
Everyone is getting confused. So let me explain the length...

The deck itself is half an inch shorter than a Pro Model. BUT, and this is a HUGE BUT. The headtube doesn't take up as much room as a folding system. So the foot space is the same as a Pro Model. The deck may be shorter, but it's still laid out to feel and be the same length and still have the foot room like a Pro Model.

So as far as the feel in length and foot room. Nothing will feel different.
So the length from the back axle to the front axle is the same length? i think thats what people are worried about when it comes to looping out.

Yes, same length. But everyone else has been worried that the deck being 1/2 inch shorter means less foot space and whips being "easier." But the dimensions have not changed. It's just the fact that there is no folding system now and the headtube doesn't take up much room, so they cut the deck of the extra length in front of the headtube.

still if you break it they don't send a new one. like TSI! so yea
thats why everyone likes them. and razor is soo cheep. thats why everyone doesn't like it already

"Hey Ben,

If you have any friends that are also scooter riders we would appreciate if you can share your interest in Razor and direct them to the website to upload their footage.

Due to your strong support for us I will pass on an Ultra Pro scooter to you once we have stock which will be end of October. Please can you send me an email mid October to remind me and I will send one to you."

hmmmmm yeah....

too many people take sh!t for granted, we're all lucky razor is doing anything at all. if razor didnt make this ultra pro we'd all have to ride the new, thinner pros that bend or old As, which break pretty easily, too.

I'm pretty sure if they didn't make the Ultra Pros, the Pros wouldn't have been made weaker.

i agree that people take it for granted though

the pros were made weaker because the strip is gone and (some say, im not sure) they aren't heat treated. the strip is gone to save money, so im pretty sure they'd be weaker even if the ultra pro didn't come out.
