New wheel idea

I was thinking of making a pure urathane wheel with no core like a skateboard wheel.

Comment if you think this is a good idea.

haha, i can see where your coming from, but skateboard wheels are much smaller and harder and thicker, they cant dehub, but scooter wheels are much bigger, and thinner and if you do that you could just snap the wheel with your hands.
just would'nt be good.

Urethane is heaver than aluminium. This would make a really heavy and weak wheel

actually, the diameter of the wheel would be the same.

they used to have wheels like this called volcanix or some shit. they fucking SUCKED.

Volcanix still had a platic core, just a small one. And yea, way too much urethane, the wheel flexed all over the place.

I would think the bearing slots would ovalize easier because of titanium's flexibility.
