I'm interested in getting my first scooter. I've got a file mile commute and my Jeep of 14 years just died. I'm looking for something fun and inexpensive that gets me to work and back.
There are a couple for sale in my area that fall within the $1k price range that are either 125/150s. Would either of these be a good first scooter? Is something like Yamaha or Honda preferred because of the name? Is it easier to get parts for something like the Yamaha in comparison to Flyscooters?

Yamaha Vino -2006 - 125cc - 16,888 miles- $950
