yes very easy to upgrade. only thing you would need is grips and griptape because the ones that comes with arent the best.
PLEASE don't get a custom as your first scooter. just get a ultra pro (like 30 other people said) haha, and then just upgrade as you go along. because the more you ride the more you will know what parts you want/need, therefore you'll be better off adding parts along the way

do the smart thing and when you upgrade your parts think about weight.
always aluminum forks, under 3.4lb decks ect
