Nike sponsor?!!

JR's real name cant be given out unless u can ask him yourself butt he does ride flow for NIKE 6.0. I was with him right after it happend... he filled out a flow sheet and everything so its legit. They just have not taken any steps in launching any type of scooter campaign or have not sent any camera crews to have JR advertise there stuff, as of yet. I heard he was being sent a big box of stuff and he is going to be givin a year or so before he rides am for Nike 6.0. Im not suppose to be talkin about this.. but... phukk it :)

yeah he's not on the 6.0 team page or anything. But hopefully they'll have him on the 6.0 commercials and ---- that would really get people to notice scootering.

I've been affiliated with Nike for years. Since the world headquarters is in my home town and my mom has been working for Nike on and off for the past decade. Nike always seemed to say the same thing... "when it gets big" THEN they would start sponsoring Scooter Riders. Nike 6.0 was also thinking about sponsoring Team Razor. But that fell through...

Nike gave me my first FREE pair of shoes back in 2002 when Nike SB first got started. Then in 06' my mom came home with a pair of grey/black Limited Edition "eclipce" Low Top Dunks which I still have today. - http://www.pickyourshoes.com/collectible/nike_dunk_sb_low_lunar.htm

I remember when I got another free pair of shoes but this time it was from Nike 6.0. My first 6.0 shoes were these black mogan's which were hella sick but I wanted Ali Kermani (team razor manager) to have some dope nike's so I sent them to him instead and just kept wearing my Eclipes' (same shoes I wore at the x-games in Australia). Now I ride some navy blue High Top Dunks. I did not get them from Nike for free however my mom got them as a Nike "sample sale" for $10.

I know that Nike 6.0 stands for the 6 action sports of the world - Skateboarding, BMX, Snowboarding, Wake boarding, Surfing, and Motorcross. Now I know that there are lots of other "action sports" like Free-skiing, wake skateing, roller blading, etc. But Nike wants the Biggest and Best sports to endorse.

Who is this JR kid? and if hes been riding for only 3 years then he must be a nut at riding... Sounds like he's in the same boat that I've been in with Nike... Free Stuff! lol.

fair enough KC but i reckon when feul hits off coedies vid that will give coverage to people that didnt know much about scooters.. then if the ratings are good they would most likely do anpther vid.. so if the bloke from nike sees that you reckon he will think.. oh i better get about this ship and set sail

This has been happening alot round my local area.
Some kid gets stickers in the mail and he thinks he a fully sponsored pro.
Like you guys have to realize sponsorship for big name companies like
Nike/Levis/Addias/Quick Silver/DC/Crocs/Jello WHATEVER
is not going to be happening for a long time until we really get scootering out there again.
Levis and Nike JUST started sponsoring BMX.

Like great and all hes on the Nike flow team,
But as if they would put him on TV we will all have to keep dreaming.

WE have to build this sport, we have to keep working and build on the legacy that was started,
we can't wait on miracles like Nike to help us.
