well i mean if you look into getting a D70 its pointless just get the D50.
Its cheaper i think the only thing that the D70 might top is the continuous shooting framers per second might be faster or w/e.
I just ordered a D50 and im happy with my choice.

I decided to wait till next year to get my slr, im low on cash and need soem other stuff before the camera. D70 looks good though..

theres a big price bump when you go with a canon though. you can get a d40/50 for about 400 dollars less than it cost to get a 20d. id rather a canon personally, but i definitely cant afford one.

the lens quality for nikon is outstanding compared to canon and the lenses are all backwards compatible with every camera ever made by nikon. the cheapish canon "glass" is really a mix of glass and some cheap shit making the lens shit. their L glass is very good but at a price tag.



get the D70 ive had mine for like a year and a half now and have had no problems what so ever.
