No Audio in Vegas Pro 8

Just got a new camcorder (Praktica DVC 5.1 HD) and have a problem with vegas.
When I import a file I filmed with it (it makes movÃ?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?´s) theres no sound.

Somebody know how to fix that?

right next to the video there is a master bar. drag that up

I tried that but it wont do anything.

ya happens to me to. my camera uses .mov but i have an audio track and everything.

I fixed the problem today. I just needes the program ffdshow and change something there, then name my files instead of mov to mp4 and now theres sound
But the video preview in vegas lags horrible
