Those little metal rings off a thread-togather ball point pen work real well for bearing spacers if you're in a bind... It only takes 65 of them per wheel...so you will need 130 ball point pens and you'll be set;)

not worth the time haha. just go find a junky scoot and take them from that. but if thats not an option then just ride without them. its not truly the end of the world, just a simple thing that makes your scooter perform better

To the OP... don't you have any friends who skateboard? They use the same spacers. You could just borrow (or steal...jk) a couple from them...
.
And like david^^ said... just ride without spacers for a day or two until you can get some, you'll be fine.

Smash an old bearing and use the inner race of it as a spacer.

Depending on what kind of wheel you have it should work. I've done this many times.

why ride with spacers as soon as i get a wheel i take them out and now i have a million haha...they just make your wheels shake and become undialed

Actually, your wheel shakes more without them, because tightening the axle pushes un-even pressure on the inner of your bearings. Therefore, the middle of your bearings are pushed in further than the outer race, and they roll unevenly (And sit on an angle). Not to mention you chance popping them far more often by rolling without spacers.

yes i know that itll ruin your bearings way faster, but if you dont have the perfect lenght of spacer it wont let the bearings tighten to where they need and youre wheel will shake

i used to ride without spacers when i didnt have any and nothing happened. i only ride spacers now cause i can tighten my wheel and it still spins.
