Noob Question-Bolted Foldy

So I just bolted my foldy (for the first time) and I used threaded bolts, I heard that it will tear up my headtube so I put 5 layers of electrical tape under where it rubs up against the headtube, will that protect it from ripping up the headtube?

well of course it will stop it, my bolts asre thread and theres little graves but it cant go in further so it doesnt matter

Just ride it. Trust me you will not break a headtube.

i didnt kno they made threadless bolts lol
and yeah it cuts into the head tube but not enough to like break it

it makes tiny scratches if anything. just keep it really tight and make sure the bolts are the right sizes.
