How does the compression system keep threadless SR forks on your bars?

I read it dude. But I was wondering what the non thread (part that the allan key goes into) catches on. Like how does the bolt attach to the fork>?

the hole for the bolt is smaller than the head of the bolt so only the part witht he threads on it goes through not the part witht he allen key end

yeh there is sorta like a bmx top bolt cap welded on the bottom of the fork
