Nose Blunts

I was riding this park up the coast (the Gold Coast) and i was trying to do this nose blunt off this 2 foot high sub-box into a 6 foot qp.. unbeknown to me this equals total chaos.. i had a few goes at putting my foot down and than decided to go for it,,, i went up to the nose blunt position on the edge of the sub-box staring down to the flat 8 feet below me.. next thing i know i was in total agony, i thought i had broken my nose for sure, like i knew i had, so i asked Derek if i had, thankfully he said no... but it was one of the most painful experiences of my life... i couldnt staighten or bend my leg for the rest of the day and my phone is going to be chucked cos i landed on it.. i havent ridden since..
ask Derek Lowndes about the ordeal because he witnessed it first hand he he couldnt believe it had happened

have any of you guys had any experiences to do with nose blunts?

My god I thought he was dead... I was so freaked out.... I saw his head bounce up off the concrete and I though he had cracked his head open. He got out sooo luckey though, my god that scared the living shit out of me. I didnt know weather to grab my cell phone and call the ambluence....

Oh and the day after you left Jordan broke his collar bone :|

lmao this is my main pussy trick, i hate em, i always find some way to bust my ass even when bailing on a noseblunt, so i dont do them anymore.

Lol he couldent its like a death drop lol. He lined it up and did one and just bailled out and then he was like "Yeah I could do this" then he tryed it and got screwed. Still cant get over it....

I got myself banned.
As long as you dont lean in too far its not death haha. Sean Griffin did somthing like that awhile ago, he was noseblunting off this like 4 foot high subbox into a steep bank, he jumped out of the noseblunt and i just saw him roll forward into the ramp haha, i though he broke his neck.

yea, they are scary when you do them off a big drop because once you commit to them, there is no way you can bail..
