to me over crooks and nose blunts are two totally different tricks; cus i naturally bs overcrook but i naturally fs nose blunt
and i dont see why people hate on heeldrag so much, it feels so much cooler with heeldrag

Because heeldrag makes it too easy? If heeldrag counted then every Cali park rat kid would learn them in a day and say they're good.

Well sure when you're just riding around and having fun go at it. Do a million indian givers and heeldrag and push mongo and then do a heeldrag noseblunt. Just don't post a video of it and claim to be a scooter god because you can do heeldrag noseblunts.

you dont need heels for noseblunts. i can slide them pretty far with no heels. best feeling grind in my opinion, need to get them on more obstacles... really wanna learn to slide them on quarters.

donatelli can do nasty noseblunts though, at woodward me and dustin chilled with him and filmed him do a like 20 foot noseblunt across the manny pad, took him like an hour and a half though

i love this trick. on quarters i got them backside, downside into it, 180 heel to noseblunt, whip in, bar in, you name it. on the slides, i use my heels but i plan on filming without them. if i can.

It's funny how nobody has the time to do things right the first time, but they always have the time to redo it later. Learn without heels.
yeah but heels are good practice for the actual grind. heels are easier and once you learn heels, you can learn without em.

that picture of mckeen happened to be pretty far down the slide so his heels touched for .1 second for all we know. he couldve done it another time and not touched at all, etc.

i DO know that he is one of the cleanest and best "grinders" in the sport though so i don't think saying heeldrag (being sketchy) means you are oldschool. if you ever talk to matt andrus he is probably the biggest hater on heeldrag, and with good reason.

there are lots of people that can noseblunt and bluntslide without heels including myself
heeldrag means you didnt land the trick as far as im concerned

basically as the sport progresses and more people learn bluntslides they'll continue to learn them better hopefully to a point where we see heeldrag going away or at least looked down upon :)
