nut above fork

mine always comes loose and makes my bars and fork shake and i tried not using it at all and i tried putting anotherone on so the bottom one wont come undone but still everyday i have to like tighten up the top and bottom nut anyway so how can i fix it ...btw i tried screwing the bars on more but when its all the way down they are sideways so i gotta un screw them a bit

i got sz buffs and inward fork i would reccomend maybe takin a different nut off another fork

yeah i just said that. and also make shure to use a channel lock to get it in nice and snug. i personally don't even use that extra nut all i used the the top part of the headset that threads on.

i used to do that but even with loctite that nut would still move. with the top one their id tighten them together like hell so it wouldnt be able to move around.

what you can do is put the bars as for down as you can and tighten your nuts on thr fork so it spins but doesnt wobble then hammer your double clamp dorn so the two nuts dont go up plus then the bars are strait

yeh mine does it is it new? the fork is as losse as itle go without wobling but any tighter it wont do a bar spin. But then the nut wobles, just get a thin spanner for the botom nut, hold that in place and tighten the top nut whist holding the fork, works like a charm.
