odd starnut problem

so my star nut is stripped and whene i went to take it out it just kept on turning, but it wont tighten down either, its really weird ive delt with alot of this shit and ive never had this happen, any ideas ?

ps. im using scs

loosen all the bolts of ur scs get a flathead pry it up and as u do that loosen ur bolt

SUCKS dude. Same shit happened to me but I have HIC, the inner threaded portion of the starnut disconnected from the rest of it and it just spun freely. I have absolutely no clue how you're going to get it off short of cutting your forks completely off. When it happened to me I was using a plastic top cap with HIC so I bashed it with a hammer til it broke and pulled my shim off lol.

thats probably the best way to do it cause bolts are not that expensive

This problem happened to me 2 days in a fucking row. Im not over tightening my headset or anything. Starnuts really need to be re designed or something, or have something holding the centre of the starnut to the outside so they don't separate so easily. Now i have no starnuts, no bolts, no topcaps and a blunt drillbit. Fuck Starnuts.
