probably because it was the only way to break it, and they wouldnt sell a wheel that they just put under a metal punch thingy.

eagles didnt last for me. when i just started riding and broke my rups i got eagles and it broke in 2 months in the back and the rup wheel lasted 3 months so kinda fail as it cost 10x the price but maybe it was a defect but lots of people are saying the new pu is just bad

eagles last longer if you dont land shitty, ive had eagles that lasted up to a year, and ones that chunked in a few months. it all depends how hard you ride them. they're great wheels tho.

i have had my eagle metal cores for over a year, this video pretty much proves why they lasted. because they were shit like OEM

My eagles are good. Had them for like 7 months now.

Alot of people think that the new pu shape is no good though.

eagles are the best wheels except they do wear our fast. The urethane never chunks too bad for me, but they just wear out and then they get too hard.
