Stainless Steel, most grades not work for pegs, once the outer layor is gound down a little they dont slide as well as aluminum or steel/alloy steel or chromo-steel
we have tryed like 15 different models of pegz offer the years, alloy steel or chromo then higher 4130 is best, same princeable of bmx pegs, we havnt tryed nylon/pvc/plastics as the peg yet i heard tilt are trying this.
i had got the idea also from bmx rider a local at my park had one i tested it on the bike i didnt like it, also it had to have a basicly smaller peg insert inside the peg to stop the nylon from just ripping off the axles, the main reason i dont like the idea is theres no sound from using them =gay, indeed the nylon will grind nice, but yeah alloy steel or chromo is the best in my opion, aluminum is ok, but the product life isnt as long as a steel foam, there not as smooth to grind nor does aluminum make that sick ice tap sound the steel models do
as for spicys comment, i might but i sort wanted to name real pegs like from brands not like homemade ones, ur more then welcome to add it & ill paste it into my first post so every one sees it when open thread
not really sure who u are asking, most the brands i listed on first page are from the USA, sold in the usa, sum are also exported oversea's for resale, our site does accept international orders also shq from australia also post to usa

They do, and they perform like a dream. I've been running them since the test models were first sent over. And to be honest, I rode Quebecs before, and Districts seem a lot more solid. Like whenever I did a icepick stall, with Quebecs it felt soggy. But with my Districts they lock in nice and solid. Don't get me wrong, I loved my Quebecs, but in my opinion, Districts are much better. And this is coming from a rider that has been riding pegs on and off for over six years and for the last two and a half non-stop without removing them even once.
As for first ever peg. First peg company I can remember was long before Viper. Some of you OG's might remember Instigator Peg Company ran out of AZ. I was on their team back in like 2003.
Yep, wrong. Tilt is stepping up their game. But District and Quebec are still hard hitting. I've had the pleasure to see samples of new designs they will be coming out with and they are top notch. Hell, Sammy Hetherington and myself figured out a genius design for pegs that we may take to Razor for their inhouse work. Super legit.
